The 110th Big Ten wrestling championships will kick off Saturday morning at the XFINITY Center in College Park, Maryland with the University of Michigan hosting the event for the first time ever. All 14 conference schools are participating in the championships, which begin with the first round, quarterfinals and wrestlebacks in Session I before consolation, wrestleback matches and semifinals take place during Session II. The action will continue Sunday with consolation semifinals and seventh-place matches getting underway during Session III and the first-, third- and fifth-place matches highlighting Session IV. With the Big Ten being home to some of the best wrestlers in the nation, this weekend should be an exciting one for wrestling fans.

The morning was full of excitement as the men left it all on the mat throughout the first round, quarterfinals and wrestlebacks. While the scores remained close early in the day, Penn State began pulling away as the day wore on. The Nittany Lions finished the first session out front, followed by Michigan and Iowa.
The second session will see the wrestlers try to make it to the finals in their respective weight classes to continue adding points to the teams' scores as all 14 teams and its members are hoping to become the 2024 Big Ten Champion.
